I had an incident yesterday with the Spar on Goldman Street in Florida!
Firstly, the ABSA ATM machine that is inside the store swallowed my card - I then turned around to get the security's attention and she is too concerned with whats happening on her phone - so eventually she comes over and tells me to go to the cigarette counter - so I do so and get an appalling response from the lady behind there and attitude that would knock you off your feet. She goes in to call the "Manager" and returns with my card. So the manager doesn't even come out...
So I go into Spar to get the stuff that I need and go to the till - which I now have to swipe my card cause I cant draw money at the ABSA - when they lady asks me CHQ or Savings and I say Cheque - it declines - which is a common thing with the new chip cards - she then turns to me when I say that and blatantly says no I did everything right and you are wrong! You have insufficient funds.By that time I'm fuming now! After drawing money at STD and paying for my stuff - the manager Les was standing outside so I approached him about the service and attitude and his words were - um sorry, and shrugged his shoulders and walked o
