Please advise

I applied for an overdraft with my bank and the system could not approve as i had an outstanding balance with Edcon of R5466. This account was closed (paid off) in March 2013 already. I called Edcon on Thursday 16/8/2013 for a paid up letter to be sent to me and I was advised that i would receive it within 48 working hours. This period has lapsed and i have not received the letter as at today 20/8/2013.I called the call centre today and i was told that the letter would be sent by close of business. I was also told that the my ITC profile was only sent to ITC to be updated yesterday. I am frustrated.

Today (23/09/2013) i applied for a readvance on a housing loan that i have with my bank and guess what, my profile has not been corrected/updated with Transunion/Experian.i called the call centre only to be told that my information was sent for correction on the 29/08/2013 and that it will take 7 working days but it's the 23rd of September 2013 and nothing has been done. I don't know what to do with Edcon anymore.
