Last week Thursday, my mom and I went to Lewis Stores as they have been calling her non stop to come and buy something and she will get a good deal. We went there, was attended by Fezeka, my mom wanted to get a tv for my brother who is in Bellville, Cape Town. In the advertised paper, there was a Samsung LCD 32 inch with a Samsung dvd, they advertised for R5999.00. We took and also arranged for them to deliver it in Bellville for my brother. Firstly they called my mom to say that they didnt have the Samsung in stock but can offer her Tedelex. Which we didnt want. The saleslady then called my brother and told him to go and have a look. Firstly they took the tv separately and the dvd separately (which was not how it was advertised). We didnt want the Tedelex cause my mom signed for the Samsung. She called Lewis here in King and was sent from pillar to post. Thereafter they just put her on hold. We had to phone head office in Cape Town and speak to someone there. Now what kind of company is Lewis in the first place. My mom has been a loyal customer to them for years, but they thought they could swindle her. We are highly disgusted with their service.
