I have been a loyal and long term customer of Edgars
Since ABSA have taken over the accounts, it seems all downhill.
I have a 12 month plan with Edgars, yet my installments are continuously being calculated on a 6 month plan.
When I pay what I KNOW is due, I am inundated by SMS's from Edgars telling me to pay the remaining balance or I will be handed over to their attorneys.
When you phone them and ask them to fix it, it is fixed until you either
a) make a payment on the account or
b) purchase
Then the installment jumps to the 6 month plan again.
I am sick and tired of wasting time having to explain to every person in your call center on a monthly basis that my installment is incorrect, and having to mathematically tell them how to work it out on a calculator.
If a total due including interest is R5000 then there is NO WAY that my installment over 12 months is R900!
Get it right Edgars! You have completely lost the faith of your loyal customers
