Getting irritating reminders to pay an account

I pay my account every month, but I get these irritating messages and calls from Truworths reminding me to pay my account. I don't see a need for Truworths to send me reminders if my account is not in arrears. These calls and messages are really IRRITATING!!! A friend of mine paid her account off and closed it because of this reason, I feel I should do the same!
