Going to the shops is an everyday thing, sure, but it is often met with individuals who just couldn't be bothered to help their customers. This, however, was most certainly not the case at Pick 'n Pay Woodmead. My significant other and I were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the door, after which we were met by a very generous lady who just couldn't wait to give us some free samples of their product on special. Upon doing our shopping, a man in blue ran up to us with a HUGE smile on his face. I cautiously said hello (yes, smiles are so uncommon they frighten me!), after which we were asked if we would like to try some iced tea that is on special. Even though we didn't buy their products, they were still so friendly!
Another lady gave us some very tasty yoghurt (PnPs own make) to try, this time we just couldn't resist. just too good! Lastly we were helped by yet another smiling face as we paid for our goodies.
Pick 'n Pay is truly an amazing retailer. Their own brand products are as good as (if not better than) many "brand" products, and significantly cheaper (which is really good, since we're only medical students!). Well done guys!
