Despite having EXPLICITLY stated on my profile that I do not want any communications from Jet (Edcon) whatsoever, I have been receiving persistent SMS communication from Jet Cellular regarding an airtime service that I did not subscribe to. I have so far even received a pin code to use. I do not know where they got my information from and I DO NOT WANT to be contacted by them! I have called twice in the past week (086 1788 211) - the phone is answered by an answering service and then you are queued to talk to an assistant. I have waited one minute and two minutes respectively, without any anwering human voice. I tried to log a complaint on their website [URL Removed] but the complaint didn't want to submit despite every field filled in. Perhaps because it was a complaint and not a compliment? I also sent a complaint email to [Email Removed] on 30 August, but have received no feedback yet. In an aside comment I can also say that since I started receiving these spam smses from Jet Cellular, I have also been receiving bogus competition spam/phishing smses on a daily basis about my phone number having won some prize. Can someone URGENTLY get back to me about this?
