I have been receiving spam from Cell C multiple times per week and often multiple time per day for the past 3 or 4 months.
I have never (even at the time of sign-up) agreed to receiving any form of marketing communication from Cell C. I ALWAYS delete these clauses on any contract that I ever sign. Additionally, I have contacted their call centre (2 weeks ago) instructing them to remove me from any marketing or spam or communication unless it has directly to do with billing or technical problems.
This has not happened. I have never and will never respond to spam (particularly SMS spam) so it is in any case waste on me.
That said, it is the one thing that I will get me to leave Cell C for another cellular provider.
It is the lowest form of marketing and just me off.
