Non-refund of poor quality shoes purchased from shop: EUROPA ART SHOES, CAVENDISH SQUARE, Claremont, Cape: 3rd January 2013, I purchased a pair of shoes at Europa Art on sale. Price R790.
I have been trying since shortly after that date, to be reimbursed by them for inferior quality shoes.
When I wore these for 1st time, within 10 minutes, there was an awful, pungent smell emanating from the shoes. Also, the main stitching snapped I noticed when I had worn the shoes for just a few minutes a 2nd time, immediately took them off, to return to Cavendish store. I filled in complaint form, stating in writing that I would NOT take the shoes back, requesting full refund of R790. I was told that "Company policy" would not allow staff to divulge Management's contact details. To date, I have chosen not to take the shoes back no. reinbursement from EUROPA ART - sent to: [Email Removed] I require amount of R790 returned to me. EUROPA ART SHOES have lost me as a once returning client of imported high-end shoes! having spent thousands of Rands in their stores over the years.
