We are pensioners and although this incident happened 2 years ago, we feel that people should take note. We bought a Sealy Posturpedic mattress from the shop (one of those mattresses which does not need to be turned from time to time). After 1 month, the mattress became hollow. We took photographs and went back to the shop. Although the sales people agreed that the item was faulty, the manager told us that the mattress would leave "body imprints" and is still getting worse! She said that she would "do us a favour" by having the mattress "tested" by the suplliers and according to them, it was not faulty and there the service "stopped"!
The matter was referred to Verbruikers, Rapport and needless to say, no response either. Our message to people is, NEVER belief the advertisements about service, warranties and guarantees - it does not exist.
