Previously, I complimented on Takealot for you great level of service and pinpointed that the low resolution of the loading screen on their mobile application made a bad impression. Which that problem was resolved in a matter of days.
Today, I still feel that Takealot can expand and improve more, simply because the level of service is already so good
Motivating and promoting buyers to give reviews of the items they bought so that the online shopping company and other consumers would be able to read and rate how popular or unpopular an item is.
The quality consumes a large part of generating interest for a product which have a high/ low price tag. Having an actual product shipped just to "test" the quality of the product would be impossible. So the reviews of others would make me more comfortable in buying a unknown product, from a unknown brand. This also builds a certain level of trust between consumers if the reviews by specific users are consistent.
Small discounts and vouchers may also encourage consumers to make an effort for their clear, descriptive and none bias reviews, Thus creating consumer/consumer trust
