I went to pick n pay earlier today to go make grocery purchases, upon entry the incompetent security guard (called Vusi from JP services security co.) called me to the side and impolitely told me that my bag was not allowed in the store. I indicated to him that I had a tablet in the bag I could not leave it at the parcel counter as pick n pay has indicated that it will not be held accountable for losses or damages that occur due to items being left at the parcel counter, he still insisted that I take the tablet out of my bag and carry it into the store. With the level of crime in in that area and criminals always on the look out for easy targets, what he did was ignorant and inconsiderate not to mention biased and abusive as many individuals walked into the store with bags. Why was mine any different? Did I not meet the requirements for people who shop at pick n pay the bridge? This was not the first encounter of abuse from this security company's employees in the same store. I wonder if Gareth Ackerman would approve of such treatment of customers? I am disgusted and ended up buying just one item as i was in dire need of that item. Pick n pay has officially lost a loyal customer.
