My father was prescribed 6 weeks of Levofloxacin-Winthrop 250 and Flomax following surgery. He received 1 week from hospital and I then went to Clicks, Cresta to get another week. We could not afford all 5 weeks in one go so decided to buy week to week. When we told this to the pharmacist she told me that it was a waste of money as if we bought in bulk we would save a lot of money. I said I couldn't afford it and so asked for just one week. She came back and said she only had 5 Levofloxacin in stock and would "owe me 2". I was not impressed but didn't have a choice. We went to collect the 2 tablets a few days later and 1 week later we went to get more medication. This time fortunately they had 1 week of stock. However, when I returned the 3rd time I wanted the remaining 3 weeks of stock only to find they only had 6 tablets of Levofloxacin. However, due to poor service despite me asking several times if she had given me 3 weeks worth of both tablets and being assured I had except for 1 missing Levofloxacin when I went to pay I saw I'd been given 7 Flomax and 6 Levofloxacin. This means I have to make ANOTHER trip to Cresta, pay for parking etc and pay extra as I wasn NOT allowed to.
