Clicks
Complete disregard for customer safety

I visited the Woodridge Clicks store yesterday (19 August 2013) at around 16H50. I was walking down one aisle when I was bumped into on purpose even after I had moved out of his way. When he moved away, I turned around to see that he had opened the zip of my bag and taken my cell phone out, in a matter of seconds. I called for Security which was nowhere to be seen and only after raising my voice a second time did a staff member emerge from behind the check-out till area. He was followed by other staff members and together they watched the three accomplices leave the store and run away. They then walked to the front of the store and casually watched as the perpetrators made a speedy getaway. This was traumatising enough and then I was still weary of walking to my car alone as there wasn't 1 staff member who came to see if i was ok, or to assist in any way. This was reported to David Kneale (Clicks CEO) at 9h24 this morning and at 13h00 (Time of this complaint) I have not received a response. Why am I not secure shopping at Clicks? Where was security? As white SAfricans are we just meant to accept this behaviour as normal and roll over and allow it to go on? What can we do?
