Improper training of cash register operators

The cash operator that assisted me certainly didnt have proper training when the customer has to pay by credit/debit card. The amount tendered registered on my mobile phone but not on their sales system. I had to insist that a call had to be lodged and get a reference number. If I had not insisted on this, the admin staff would have left me. The following day I followed up and received my money back in the afternoon.

Not very good service for such a big retail store. Their service has gone down the drain, to none the less. South Africans need to stand up to get good customer service, we tend to keep our mouth shut.
