My Sony Bravia Tv got and I had only two payments left, As my basic insurance from the JD group required, I followed all the necessary procedures and provided ALL the necessary documents (e.g. Affidavit) to clear out my outstanding balance (which had been less than R700). All of this happened August 2012. After all of this, they still kept on deducting payments from my account. I kept on reversing them, as it had been my right to do so- It was such a hassle. When I phoned head office they told me they are still waiting for the affidavit from the Bela-Bela branch- I did submit the affidavit to the Bela-Bela Branch.

In the beginning of the 2013 year I started a new business. I was fortunate to land a R2m contract and I had to get a loan in order to fulfil in the contract requirements, but wasn't able to do so due to the fact that the JD group had put me up on ITC for my account being in arrears. Of I loose the contract I will hold the JD group responsible and if this issue is not resolved promptly, the next time any JD store see me, will be with a lawyer by my side.
