I was approached telephonically to join the "Edgars Coffe Club" - my biggest concern was what to do should I wish to discontinue. I was assued that it would simply be a call. Ja right. I have contacted their call centre - an Ethan (rep code 3C5) advised that I have no such membership - but could also not explain why a charge of over R500-00 had been levied against my account. when asked I was told "Ok, hold on." He came back telling me I needed to phone a different number - the joys - it ends up that the number he gave me is for their emergency line - so I was offered an ambulance as opposed to having my membership cancelled!!! I was then given a number to call - you guessed - that one did'nt help either. Edgars, please tell the public how you intend handling them after they become clients!!! I will now not only cancel my mebership, but also close my account - not that they give a!
