My boyfriend had recently purchased a ring from Sterns and asked for the ring to made up exactly to the original, adding in 2 extra claws and 18ct. He was not convinced with the colour of the stone although the assistant told him that it is correct and at that time the original ring was not in store. He then decided to let me see the ring and I noticed that the setting on the side was not the same as the original as well as the colour of the centre stone was definitely not the same as the one we had seen in the store. When we eventually got a hold of the original ring and looked at them side by side we had then concluded that his suspicions were correct and that we felt that we were robbed. If we hadn't gone this far to check the original ring we would have never known. Now its going for a quality check but its too late and it is not our duty in the 1st place to have to go and check that you guys do what you're suppose too!! You give us a valuation certificate however aren't even sure if its right so your'll have to send it for a quality check. Sterns definitely isn't the "home of flawless diamonds." I will definitely take this public!
