FAILURE TO UPDATE AFTER SETTLEMEMT OF ACCOUNT

I am very unhappy with the service i have been rendered by this very big retailer. i had an account with them that i unforturnately failed to pay and it was handed over.

i then contacted the company they handed the account to SSDA whom i made an arrangement to pay the full amount paid and that was done as per agreement on the 27/04/2013.
i got the paid up letter from SSDA and was advised that that it will take up to 60days for my credit record to be updated at the bureau. it is almost 90 days and my record has still not been updated and when i present EDCON with the paid up letter, they refer me back to the handed over company to "zerorise" the account as there is still a balance showing.

i am highly fed up with this because even the consultants dont take responsibilty and are quick to refer me from one company to the other.
