I am most disappointed after my last visit to the centre. I spent just under 2 hours shopping, and ended off in Woolworths, where I validated my parking ticket, to receive 1 hour 30 minutes free parking. To my astonishment, when paying for my parking, instead of the R9 for 2 hours, R1 was deducted, and I was asked to pay R8. Previously, as well as currently at other shopping centres, the amount for the first hour would be deducted, and you would then charge the difference, in this case I would pay R1. I enquired from the help line, and they said unfortunately I would have to pay the R8.
What is the point of marketing 1hour 30 minutes free, when all you get is R1 discounted from your total parking fee??? It seems that Pavillion is just trying to money from the patrons from their parking.
