I recently purchased a dining-room suite consisting of 6 chairs and a dining table.
At the point of purchase I was not informed that the goods was an end of range product. The legs of the chairs have developed cracks and I reported same some 4 weeks ago. The warehouse has contacted me informing me that I have to choose other chairs or a full refund. The cost of a similar replacement set of chairs is twice the price of my original purchase. I have spent at least R 20000.00 (cash) at Coricraft over the past few months and consider myself a valued customer. Coricraft are refusing some leeway on the price- in fact, I am in a retail environment and our policy is equal or better! Numerous telephone calls and requests for the manager to call me has gone unheeded and I now have my back up as I want equal or better. It really is not my problem that they cannot supply me with the same and I am not going to accept a refund.
