Good day,

My wife pays all her accounts on the 26th of every month. This has been the case with Edgars as well. In April 2013 we made a eft payment with her card number as reference instead of using the account number. This payment was captured by Edgars and accepted.

Since this was not a problem in April we paid the account the same way in May 2013 and settled the full account balance end of June 2013. Also using the card number as reference instead of the account number. This time round they did not allocate the payments.

Strange but true. I have now sent the proof of payment to [Email Removed] and [Email Removed] and a couple of faxes to the Durban branch on 0862 954 820 which is the direct fax number of Lorna at the Durban accounts department. Every time I phone to confirm if they have in fact received the documents, they put me on hold for ten minutes to go look and then come back saying I have to resend the documents. How many copies of the documents do they need to allocate the money that we paid to our account.

I even dropped of the proof of payments at the Shelly beach store. They promised to sort it out and phone me on 08 july 2013. I am still waiting
