Reneging on commitment & unprofessional response

Sunday, 07/07/2013, the store had a stack of Samsung 7500's marked at R11999.00.
The Branch Manager, Naas Greyling, stated that "the price is not a launch price, but is THE price" (sic). He re-iterated this sentiment a few times during our discussion, as well as confirmed that he had contacted his superior who had also verified this. I had specifically asked if the price would increase in the next three days, to which he responded no, but it may go up a bit in the future. I trusted his verbal commitment, especially on the grounds that the Branch Manager of such a store would be reliable and honourable person.
I decided to returned to purchase the TV.
I was unable to make it to the store before closing on Monday, but took time off work to return on Tuesday morning.
The sales representative fetched one, but the price on the same model was now R18999.00.
I stated the facts of the commitment from Naas regarding the price, and he said he was well aware of the situation. I requested management to resolve this. The assistant manager called Naas a few times, but he has refused to honour his verbal commitment.

This is appalling from Incredible Connection, whom I used to support!
