Yesterday the 25th June, i purschased prawns @ R49.99 at the store, immediately when i opened them they had bad fishy smell, but because i have never cooked prawns at home i wasnt sure if they had to smell like that. i cooked them, we had that for supper, as horrible as it tasted we didnt have much of a choice. when i googled about that, i found that fresh sea food is not suppose to smell. worse part i even checked the expiry date, a couple of times while cooking them, and it is for Jan 2014. Still feeling sick 24 hours later... please get that checked up, coz i'm even not sure what my health will escalate to.
