Ringer timer still not working and poor follow-up

Bought a DEFY oven (slimline 600) and have been disappointed with its build quality since day one. From the first day it was fitted the complete door assembly was loose and had to be rectified by a DEFY technician. Upon further use we found the ringer/timer to be faulty as well.

We then proceeded to log a call with DEFY (Port Elizabeth) who did not have this part in stock. We waited several weeks before deciding to phone DEFY (Port Elizabeth) to find out what the status was on the ordered part. Apparently the part arrived the previous day. In the time that we were waiting for this part nobody bothered to update us and no appointment was made to install the ringer/timer after it had arrived. Instead of DEFY providing us with some form of customer service we (the customer) had to initiate everything from our side.

We are now forced to log yet another fault with DEFY (Port Elizabeth) to replace the second ringer/timer. To be honest I regret not purchasing another brand. Many of the shops told us that DEFY parts are easy to come by and that they provide good service. As such we had no qualm purchasing a DEFY product. I am very disappointed.
