In January 2013, I put in a claim at Markhams in Sandton for my damaged phone, they took 3 weeks to get back to me and informed me that my phone will not be replaced because it does not appear on there system, even though I have been paying insurance on the phone for over 2 years. They further stated that the phone was not entered into their database when I took the insurance, they only saw that once I put in a claim on the phone. On the monthly statements I receive from them it does not indicate what type of phone I'm paying for but it stipulates "Phone 1 R62". I feel wronged by Markham because of their internal mistake which left me feeling helpless, its been 5 months and when I contact them to clear this issue I hit a dead end. When I put in a second claim in April 2013 for a phone which I also have been paying for over 2 years as well, my claim was denied because they claim that the phone was not with me when it was, I find it an insufficient reason for them to deny a claim which they haven't even investigated or even enquired with me on what transpired. Markham YOU ARE!!!
