Washing machine dilema with Metro Home Centre

We bought and paid for a new LG 8kg Direct drive washing machine in June, which was supposed to be delivered on 1 July as we moved into a new house during the last weekend of June. They informed us that the washing machine was damaged (dented) and had to re-order a new one, 3 days later and still no washing machine. When we contacted the store the sales person (Fish) said that he does not know when the machine will be delivered and his comment was "maybe next week". This should be a warning to all prospective customers of Metro Home Store to think twice before ordering an appliance at this store, unless you check and load it immediately, as obviously they are only concerned to make a sale and receive the money, and after they have received it "service to the paying customer" falls away. That is probably why they are cheaper than any other store, because there you do not pay for the service, only for the goods, if you are so lucky as to receive the item you paid for.
