Failure to Refund

In September 2012 I bought 4 books using the EB internet purchasing facility. Due to a purchase duplication of the order EB accepted the return of 1 book and agreed to refund me the value in full. To date, despite numerous calls and assurances that Nishen, a manager, would contact me, I have not received any feedback from Nishen nor have I received a refund from EB. On 19 June I was advised by Hloomie, an EB call centre agent, that Nishen was unavailable but that a senior manager, Karl Thomas, had approved my refund and a complimentary voucher of R160 for the inconvienience and problems I had encountered with their service. To date I have not received my refund nor the complimentary voucher from EB. I called EB today to inform Hloomie that I will be reporting this matter to the Consumer Commission tomorrow morning as a result of the and terribly poor service I have received from the Exclusive Books online / call centre channel.
