Furniture City
Poor Service

My name is Thobeka Moraka. On the 09/01/2013 I went to purchase goods (a queen size base set, Samsung Plasma TV, windback chair and a leather ottoman on credit (12 month period with 0% interest). I was given a contract document to sign by a lady called Trisha. I noticed that in another page, Charles (salesman) who is responsible for the deal, wrote that I am single without enquiring from me about my marital status. I informed Trisha that I am married and not single.

Later, I was contacted by Charles requesting that I submit a TV license, even after I told him on the 09/01/2013 that I will use my husband's as we can't have two licenses. He promised to check with SABC. He called back to inform me that SABC confirmed what I told him. He promised to call me back with the delivery date. He left a voice message on my phone stating the he wishes to discuss something with me.
When I called him, he mentioned that their system is not configured to accept licenses other than the purchaser's. He advised that I come in sign the contract without the TV which I did on 15/01. I never heard from them since, until I contacted them today, and only to be told that some goods have been out of stock
