Disgusting!!!

I purchased a fridge. It started to freeze the food around 20/12 with ice forming on the back. I contacted the retailer and arranged for a tech to come out. I was told after 1:30 (which does not help) especially as they only arrived at 6:00. I had to take the afternoon off to ensure that someone was home to get the problem fixed. According to the tech the incorrect thermastat was installed and he was unable to install the correct one for some reason. He gave me his word that he would write a report, send it to Kelvinator and state that a new fridge would be needed. This was 8/01.

When the tech put the original thermastat back he didn't connect it and didn't tell me. So my perishable goods went off. I then contacted the retailer again and asked for another call out to be booked. Since then I have taken another 2 afternoons off. 1 to wait for no one to arrive and 1 to go into the retailer and see the manager and myself abused by the rudest call centre agent who said that she would buy another brand if in my situation. I'm a teacher and can't take leave or answer calls to suit a supplier's whim when I'm the customer. A tech was booked for 16/01 and no one arrived. Not even a call!!!
