The choice of "music" and the volume it is played at makes shopping at this and other Truworths stores a nightmare. It must surely also impact on the staff, to be subjected to what can only be described as wailing. I fail to understand why Truworths stores (and others) consider they are providing a positive experience. Have management consulted the staff of their stores on how they feel about being bombarded all day to loud, repetitive 'music'; have they evaluated the impact on productivity; have they canvassed customers on how they feel? For my part I find it impossible to make the right choices with the loud, intrusive, pounding "music".
