Defective Hallogen Heate

Approximately 2 weeks ago I made a cash purchase for a Hallogen heater valued at R199. Upon opening the sealed package at home I discovered that the base was not included. The following day I returned the product and the cash POP to the store and was assisted by Elmor (i.e. Manager). Considering the fact that the product was working 100%, Elmor simply issued the required component from another product.

A few days ago I noticed that one of the bars are defective and again had no choice but return to the store. After an agonising waiting period in the queue, I was denied an exchange because I no longer had my cash POP.

I do understand the importance of providing the POP, but I feel that an exception could have been made considering that I have returned the product with my cash POP prior to this. A straight swap out would have sufficed.

Not only am I completely dissatisfied with this defective product, but the lack of congeniality and service efficiency of Jet management needs to be addressed.

My three visits to this established retailer proved to be a waste of my valuable time and money.
