Good day,
I hate being one of those people who complain but I am tired of contacting Woolies regarding my disappointment of the quality of their goods- all they do is send a R50 voucher and nothing is improved!
I dont think that sending disgruntled customers a gift voucher is the purpose of the customer care line- im sure the organisation uses it as a means to assess their on-going quality and ways for improvement.
I have bought 2 7kg pockets of potatoes from woolies, both had potatoes which started going black and letting off a horrible stench in my kitchen. What made things worse is that a customer care manager called me to apologise, promised he would keep in contact and send a voucher to repay me for the potatoes but i got nothing.
I bought a bottle of Juice (Mixed Berry Concentrate) which is supposed to go off in September, however it has already gone sour.
Just so you know, I bought a pudding, peppermint crisp tart slices which was aweful. Maybe Woolies needs to give their products to a review board to see if it is a success before putting the product for sale. This pudding did not resemble a peppermint tart, the mousse felt like lard against the pallet
