I purchased a 5.5Kw Generator for R4500 from Builders Express in Springfield Park on the 12.01.2013.It became faulty within a month. I went to the store, they advised to replace the spark plug, at my expense, within the warranty period. Fortunately that worked.
It became faulty again with severe amounts of black smoke that blackened my walls. I approached Builder Express. A fellow by the name of Dean turned up, I explained what had happened and demanded a full refund, the product is of inferior quality and clearly not fit for its purpose. I was told normally alot of customers do not follow the instructions, arrogantly and they would normally charge the customer as if, i was responsible for their product failing. He was not willing to listen to reason. I went back today to return the product, he still refused a refund. When i advised that i had called his head office & explained what had happened. He replied that he was looking forward to their call.
I have been buying all my gardening plants, soil, fertilisers, tools for quite sometime from Builders Express & am extremely dissapointed. I have lost faith in BE.An apology from him & full refund is in order.
