I purchased a Russell Hobbs upright fan from Makro PMB and returned it a few months later due to an electrical smell coming off the fan.
I wanted my money back but was told that due to the original packaging not accompanied with the fan that Russell Hobbs wanted me to pay R22, 00 for not doing so.
Is this another way of customers taking the heat for inferior products that suppliers i.e. Russell Hobbs, whom previously made great products but have now chosen to make cheaper products to get market share???
I am also sure this is not in accordance to the NCA or CP.
