On Sunday, 19 May, I was humiliated in the presence of other customers by the rudeness of the manager, who wears a name tag that reads "Mathiram" and subsequently confirmed to me that it is his name. I reported this online and received an automatic response, indicating that Pick 'n Pay would revert to me (reference 282172). Having had no response, I drew attention to this on Wednesday, 22 May, and indicated that I was quite prepared to take the matter further in the local media. I received a similar autoresponse (reference 282814). Pick 'n Pay seems to endorse the rudeness of their manager.
