I purchased a bad batch of Steri Stumpie milk shakes from a super market in Pretoria and it seemed like the batch in its entirety was bad as it didn't necessarily had a sour taste but almost an off taste like it was the ingredients.
I however took the time to write Parmalat a letter which I emailed to them and soon thereafter phoned their call centre where I gave the batch numbers and details of the purchase to the consultant who assured me that they would send me a voucher for my loss of which I was very grateful.
Only now it has been months if not already a year and since that time I have even followed up telephonically once again and yet to date they still haven't provided me with anything.
Its one thing to refuse to compensate a client for a loss but another to commit to an actual generosity and not to comply with it in a year's time.
I have even complained on their actual website yet still didn't receive any feedback of any kind.
