Out of Stock... PERMANENTLY!!!

When i first saw the Home choice catelogue I was excited about getting my pots, I decided to give them a call in December and place an order. According to the catelogue it takes up to 10 working days for orders to be delivered, but when I placed the order I was told it will take 3-5 weeks as they were out of stock.
I then waited patiently for 4 weeks to settle before giving them a call. When I did, I decided to change my order, as they again did not have stock, I was told that stock would be arriving the end of that week and I can expect delivery in the week of 14th. I called them the 14th to confirm all this and was told that as stock take was taking place, goods would only be despatched as of Wed and my order has been set aside.
Because I am on the road I called them Wed morning to confirm and again was told that there is no stock of the item and that should stock come in, it would take up to 2 weeks before delivery of the order.
Now I dont know how their business operates, but I can tell you this service! I can understand that delivery takes time, but make sure your staff are clued up and your systems reflect the right information to be relayed to the customer.
