POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

My woes started on the 21st of May 2012 when I took 2 items back to the retail Edgars Store in Sandton to be credited on my account. I held the old Sales House account card, then, which had a balance of R1700. 00; the card I had been using to transact at Edgars previously with no challenges. On the 21st of May however I was told that my account had been frozen as its obsolete and needed to go open a new one at Jet stores in the same shopping Mall, as Jet and Edgars operate as one business unit and are linked to the old Sales House retail store which is no more. I returned to Edgars with the new Jet Account card and credited the 2 items for about R600. 00 and bought one item for about R200.00. On linking my old Sales House Account and New Jet account the credits were never updated on my new account but the 1 item i bought on this 21st of May was debited on my account which just increased the balance on my account. Unfortunately I lost the receipts and credit notes and have been to the shop on numerous occasions and have never been afforded the service to rectify the error on my account. I have been advised to send emails to accounts department which i did and never got any response.
