I got home tonight to my wife in tears as she tried to explain to me how she was treated at this branch.
We have a 5 week old puppy (small as your hand) that my wife has to hand feed and she went into Pick n Pay to get a few things before coming home like she does on a daily basis. Yes we realize now that this is not allowed but how this was handled is unacceptable: A Pick and Pay Security Guard walked up to her and in and aggressive manner ripped the trolley from my wife said she can't go in with the puppy and proceeded to try rip the Puppy from my wives hand - keeping in mind the puppy is so small and can't even walk and is bottle fed. Then another staff (manager)- joke- did not do anything about the way this security guard spoke to my wife and treated her. My wife then went and found another manager named Jaco and advised him of what transpired. He said sorry but dogs are not allowed. Again did not handle this in anyway fit for a manager. I will not and do not tolerate anybody especially not a well known company like Pick n Pay grabbing my wife, touching her and treating her in an aggressive manner. This is completely unacceptable.
