When I started my current job in 2007, I contacted Edgars regarding the arrears on my account. I was told there was no record of my account. A few months ago - 6 years later - I was contact by a debt collector regarding the very account Edgars "could not find" - have no record or recollection of being contacted before this. As far as I know, after 3 years the debt becomes Prescribed. My intitial debt with Edgars was approximately R2000 and the debt collector has advised me I now owe approximately R4000!! This is a terrible shock as this could've been settled ages ago. Very bad service. I hope Edgars responds to this complaint
