Recently bought a pair of Jeans from Uzzi in Keywest (Krugersdorp) - paid R700.00 for it...
Have had it a few months - don't wear Jeans often, as I wear suits on a daily basis...
Today the Jean tore when I got into the car... Terrible quality and workmanship...
I have had formal pants for a LOT longer, and paid a lot less - and have worn it a lot more - and never has that happened...
Won't buy from these guys again - not even as a group, as they have clearly sacrificed quality for the sake of, bulk Chinese imports making use of economies of scale...
Would rather buy through PayPal, and import designer clothing from the US or Europe (Had a Jean imported that I have been wearing for 4.5 YEARS, and it is still not really showing wear - still hangs in my closet) and pay the same price as I would have if I bought the sub-standard Chinese from Truworths and their related stores.
I've even had my Levis for a couple of years (That I bought at the Levis store) - No issues either...
Guess some brands don't care about being below the normal standard. Stupid really, as they don't think about the consequences and how it effects client loyalty in the long run.
