On the 06/05/2013 my friend and i went to PEP Store in Tremshed, Pretoria to buy sim cards. the cashier asked myy friend what language she speaks at home. she answered him and that's when he asked to speak to her in that language. when we were ready to pay he would not speak to her in English and started insulting her and said: "if i was fighting with you, i would have hit you by now." this is a threat in my oppinion. he continued to say how disrespectful my friend is. he said that he could not help her in English as he is not English and neither is her. my question is, how does he help people of other origins. is English not a Universal language and a requirement to dealing with customers. when my friend wanted to report on Hello Peter, he grabed her ipad and told her that pictures were not allowed in the store. this was again said by another cashier that appeared. my friend then reported the matter to the manager, who said nothing about this and just stared into space. the camera footage from the store can prove this. we are not happy with the service and bad attitude given by Daniel, his manager and co-workers. an apology is needed for the way in which this was dealt with.
