I went to Pick n Pay Equestria for groceries and was hoping to buy 2kg Sunlight plus the free 1 kg Omo that was advertised. I get to the till to try and pay and I am told by the cashier that they dont have the 1kg Omo. I ask for the manager, hoping that he could replace the 1kg free soap with 2 500g ones or at least a rain check. The manager eventually comes and flatly refuses my suggestions. He tells me I can leave the soap and come back to buy it when they have stock.

The special ends on Sunday and I am supposed to drive back to the shop for just 2 items - waste of petrol. When I suggest a rain check, he tells me he ran out of rain check forms. Clearly the manager was not willing to assist me at all. His attitude as well spoke volumes about how he viewed me as a customer. I am so disappointed about such poor service from a store I always buy groceries from.

It is concerning to me that I can never find some specials at the store. I know there's a "while stocks last" sign but surely if you are running a special for 7 days, you cannot be out of stock by day 2? This happened with the toiletries that were on special, eg 2 toothbrushes for the price of 1.
