Who the knows customer service anymore???

I as a loyal customer to foschini group gave my WIFE my sportscene account to go buy clothes as she is flying to joburg tonight. We stay in durban and know very well that it gets really cold in joburg. I wrote a letter, signed and dated it, attached my original ID book as I knew it was welcomed before. Only to be informed that she was threatened with jail time for doing .??? I call the call center only to be tossed from one person to the next. Finally I get informed that the "Business" made a decision that the practice to write an endorsement letter doesn't apply anymore. Who in the business informed the millions of customers they have cause I never received that updated, But, when they need to sell you magazines and specials that you don't need you get calls every 2nd of how good they make life simple. This is kn ridiculous. Now my wife has to fly tonight, will they cover her medicals bills??? Of-course NOT But they really sorry for the inconvenience. I asked for a duplicate card over a year ago at sportscene in Melrose Arch and up to this day the card has not been delivered. I asked who I can ask about why we were not informed, "marketing has knocked off SIR"
