Digi Core
Unethical conduct - Shocking Service

In May 2008, a vehicle tracking device was fitted on a brand new Honda Accord. I never signed nor received a contract. I paid the monthly premiums until early 2010 when I became unemployed. I understood from the Honda dealership that this was a three year subscription service. I received statements on very very irregular intervals. In August 2012, I discovered that I was now blacklisted at I.T.C for /-R2500. In September 2012, I received a statement showing that I now owed /R 9, 900. I immediately phoned Dakalo in the accounts department and queried this. I also requested a copy of my contract. To my shock, I had never seen the contract, did not sign it and it had long expired but I was still being billed!!! I was asked to send an affidavit to accounts for further investigations as I had not signed the contract. A very arrogant lady contacted me briefly insisting that it was my problem, I only needed to pay for services rendered. I have hit a brick wall!!! There seems to be no solution in sight. I obviously now have a very BAD image about this company. Companies no matter how big, don't seem to understand the silent customer!
