I have a a 12 year old rental alam system from ADT. This system is no longer working. ADT refuses to repair unless I agree to pay a call out fee. I find this totally unacceptable since they want to charge a fee to send a technician to repair a faulty system that belongs to them. If I owned this system, then I would be more than willing to pay the cost of repairs. When you hire a car and it breaks down, the car hire company sends out a new vehicle at their cost. For 12 years, they have collected my rental, yet now when their system has fallen apart, then I need to pay a call out fee. This is totally unacceptable. They must either repair this at their own cost or remove the system whereafter, I will have a system installed and maintained at my own cost. To add insult to injury, they call centre operator just put be back on hold when I asked to speak to a supervisor.
A very disappointed customer.
