SYSTEM INSTALLED WERE FAULTY FROM START

17 JANUARY 2013 at 06H50 we locked up and left home for work. The ADT system was installed 3monts prior to the case and never worked properly. At 13H28 my husband were called at work and informed of a break in at our home. He immediately left from work. At his arrival the sirene was going of every now and then. The neigbours informed Adt but they arrived after my husband. They found that a Telefunken TV, a playstation with remotes, a toshiba laptop and a seagate 2000 USB harddrive to the amount of R12000 were. Adt said that it never connected to their signal basis. Although it was armed it did not send signals to Adt. The system was removed for tests to PE and it was found that it never worked properly. After many correspondence and calls they want to negotiate for a R5000 settlement. How can I replace the items with that money. I trusted the service, but there were no service at all. Interesting they took my monthly premiums for a faulty secondhand system they installed. How is it possible that people get away with this?
