I was not made aware that you r stuff has a 3 year expiry date. The reason why I say this is that the 2 remotes are giving us trouble. When I went to your offices to check I was told that the remotes work for 3 years only. The battery in the siren is not working today. Without being told I know it has reached its expiry date. For the remotes I was informed that I have to pay R1 120 for the technician callout and the new remotes. I have already paid the R380 callout for today. I suspect that I will pay for the siren battery.
I really wish to convey my dissatisfaction to ADT, security controlling board and the consumer watchdog (Hello Peter). From September 1994 to September 2010 our home was 1 Hunter Avenue Pioneer Park Newcastle. For most of the years we stayed there we used Chubb Security. Not even once did we have to summon a technician to our residence to change even the minutest part of the system.
