Last week I complained about the pathetic service I received from ADT Vredenburg. After my complaint I was contacted and promissed that the extra monitor will be installed on Friday. I was called on Friday and a time was arranged, 1 o' clock. At 3 o'clock I phoned the installer, ID Security, to find out what is going on There was nobody at the office, and after a struggle, I spoke to the branch in Vredenburg. Eventually the technicians arrived after 4. They had no tools with them and had to borrow mine. When they installed the monitor, the vga cable, or monitor, was faulty. The monitor in the bedroom was also not working properly. I phoned ADT this morning and they send out the technicians. They said that I must buy a power supply for the second monitor. That is rediculous and unecceptable as I got a quote, from ADT, for 2 monitors. Its not my problem if the person who gave me the quote, do not know their job. I am definately not going to buy another power supply. I will rather take the matter to the Consumer Protector.
